**About the Role**
We are on the hunt for a Retail Sales Consultant who thrives on achieving sales and profit targets, whilst creating a great customer experience by exploring sales opportunities with our customers by helping them make their home decisions.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to:
- Educate customers on the latest innovations and options to help them choose the perfect addition to their home
- Answer customer queries about products and recommend the right solutions
- Capitalise on every sales opportunity when servicing customers by always aiming to achieve in providing the highest quality experience and outcome
- Process payments and maintain customer records
- Schedule and booking in customer measures, quote jobs, read and work out plans and job cost completions
- Keep in regular contact with customers and provide an update on orders and products from suppliers
- Complete invoicing, stocktake, goods received, refunds, and payments using POS computer system
- Assist local trades and builders with products and information
- Dealing with minor customer complaints and feedback
- Achieving periodic sales targets, revenue outcomes and results based on sales
- Ensure store appearance and presentation are of the highest quality, such as cleaning and general housekeeping duties
- Assist in other roles of the business as required
**About you - Essential Criteria**
Experience in the retail industry and/or a customer service role
Proven experience in and be driven to achieve set targets and KPIs
Experience in providing outstanding customer service
Solution selling experience on products and services based on customer benefits
Experience using Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent communication skills with great listening skills
Exceptional dealings with volume work and working in a fast-paced environment
Understanding personal and store sales targets, and KPI's
Current and valid ACT/NSW Driver's Licence
Ability to successfully obtain a valid Police Check and Working with Children Check

**Salary**: $21.44 - $34.96 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability
