Employment Opportunities Specialist


The role of an Employment Opportunities Specialist is pivotal in transforming the lives of job seekers. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with stakeholders to deliver tailored employment solutions. This involves identifying and securing employment opportunities for participants with local employers.



Key Responsibilities

* Identify and secure employment opportunities for participants with local employers.

* Supporting participants to identify skills to become job ready.

* Deliver quality service while adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements.

* Enhance participants employability through training and support service referrals.

* Develop personalised job plans for clear employment pathways.

* Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups.



Qualifications and Skills


We are seeking individuals who possess strong communication skills, a can-do approach, and empathy towards those with disabilities, injuries, or barriers to employment. Previous experience in sales, retail, call centres, hospitality, consulting, business development, or administration is highly valued. We provide full training to help you leverage your transferable skills into a new career in Employment Services.

Requirements


* Eligibility to work in Australia.

* A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle.

* A MyGovID (Standard level).

* Willingness to complete a National Police Check.

* Able to pass a Working with Children Check.

* Availability to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
