Our client is an established and growing engineering and industrial services organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of complex projects across manufacturing, infrastructure, and industrial sectors in South Australia.
This role suits a hands‐on Project Manager with a strong engineering foundation who enjoys managing multiple projects end‐to‐end in a structured, delivery‐focused environment.
About the role
Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from pre‐contract through to final handover, ensuring delivery to budget, schedule, scope, and quality expectations.
You will work closely with internal teams across engineering, production, procurement, quality, and operations, as well as external clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Manage the full project lifecycle from award, planning, execution, and delivery through to close‐out
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and deliverables
* Coordinate resources, suppliers, and subcontractors to meet project timelines and production requirements
* Act as the primary client interface, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and milestones
* Monitor project costs, budgets, and margins, ensuring commercial outcomes are achieved
* Identify and manage project and contractual risks, escalating issues where required
* Support procurement and purchasing activities for materials and services
* Ensure projects are delivered in line with safety, quality, and operational standards
* Lead regular project meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Skills and Experience
* 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager or an engineering background with strong project delivery exposure
* Experience delivering projects within engineering, manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Sound understanding of project planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management
* Comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast‐paced environment
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction, or related discipline (desirable)
* Proficient with MS Office and project management software (e.g. MS Project or similar)
