We are currently seeking permanent part-time Home Care Workers to support our aged care clients in their homes across Sunshine Coast.
This includes Caloundra, Buderim, Maroochydore, Berwah, Coolum Beach and surrounding suburbs.
The commencement date for this position is late January, as Centacare has a shutdown period.

The role
The majority of shifts will involve domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation for our clients
Providing personal care and supporting clients with daily routines
Working unsupervised while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism
Offering social and recreational support, from friendly conversations to accompanying clients on community outings
Transporting clients safely to appointments or social activities using your own vehicle
Running errands and providing general support to enhance clients' quality of life
What you need
A genuine passion for helping others, with a caring, reliable, and compassionate nature
Currently enrolled in or have completed a Certificate III or higher in Aged Care, Individual Support, or a related field (minimum 120 placement hours completed)
If you do not hold a relevant qualification, a minimum of 3 months' experience as a Support Worker or related field is required
