About the Role
Based in Bairnsdale, you’ll work full time from Monday to Friday, assisting qualified electricians and solar installers on real job sites. From setting up solar systems to maintaining electrical components, you’ll gain valuable, practical experience while completing your Certificate III in Electrotechnology over a 4-year apprenticeship.
Through your Group Training Organisation (GTO) placement, you’ll rotate across different worksites — giving you the chance to experience the full scope of the electrical and solar trades.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Install and maintain solar energy systems for homes and businesses
- Assist with general electrical wiring and maintenance
- Work safely with power tools and electrical equipment
- Support tradespeople on-site and learn through hands-on experience
- Participate in training toward your Certificate III qualification
What We’re Looking For
- Keen to learn and start a trade career in solar/electrical
- Reliable, motivated, and enjoys practical work
- Safety-conscious and a great team player
- Holds or willing to obtain a White Card
- Has a driver’s licence or reliable transport
