Operating since 1987, Golf Services Management (GSM) is a well-established golf management company currently managing venues throughout Victoria. Our venues deliver quality experiences and a high level of customer service across both golf and hospitality operations.
GSM is seeking Golf Operations & Hospitality Attendants to join the team at Growling Frog Golf Course, a premium public golf course open 7 days a week in Yan Yean, Victoria.
The Role
This role involves working across the golf opperations and bar areas, delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the daily operation of the venue.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Providing exceptional customer service and building strong rapport with customers
* Operating a Point of Sale (POS) system
* Taking and managing golf bookings
* Daily tee time coordination
* Assisting with retail stock replenishment
* Completing daily operational tasks
* Golf cart cleaning and washing, including presentation and readiness for daily use
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment
* Demonstrating a strong work ethic
* Being reliable and punctual, with availability to work weekends, public holidays, and peak periods
About You
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be an integral member of the customer-facing team. You will be:
* Experienced or familiarity with tee sheet/timesheet bookings (highly regarded)
* Experienced in bar operations
* Strong verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach
* A proactive, energetic attitude
* The ability to work effectively within a small team
* A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
Knowledge of golf and experience in food & beverage service is preferred; however, training will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrating commitment and a positive attitude.
Employment Conditions
* Casual position with applicable award being the Amusements, Events & Recreation Award
* Hours primarily available on peak trading days including weekend and public holiday work
