Based at our manufacturing facility in Orchard Hills, Sydney, this full‑time, permanent role reports to the Head of Human Resources Australia and sits on the Site Leadership Team.
Snackbrands Australia is part of the Intersnack Group, a global snack food leader. We manufacture locally and produce popular Aussie snacks such as CC's, Thins, Cheezels, Kettles and The Natural Chip Company.
As Human Resources Business Partner you'll provide strategic and hands‑on HR support across all Supply Chain & Operations functions, working closely with people leaders throughout the full employee lifecycle and delivering People & Culture initiatives that make a lasting impact.
What you'll be responsible for?
* Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and provide solutions‑focused HR advice
* Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle – recruitment, onboarding, performance, change management and offboarding – partnering with Centres of Excellence to streamline processes
* Ensure legislative compliance and manage effective industrial relations, including issue resolution, strategy development and Enterprise Agreement negotiation
* Champion the transition to IWS (Integrated Work Systems) ways of working, supporting creation and execution of roadmaps that embed culture change
* Coach and develop our HR Advisor
* Contribute to the development, communication and execution of the HR Strategic Plan and broader business strategy
* Identify, design and deliver HR processes and initiatives that drive continuous improvement
* Develop and implement learning and development solutions as needed
* Support strategic HR projects and change initiatives
* Provide general support to the wider HR team as needed
What you'll bring to the role?
* Tertiary qualification with relevant HR or business endorsement
* Proven HR generalist experience within FMCG or a similar fast‑paced industry
* Previous experience in a blue‑collar unionised environment
* Demonstrated HR generalist experience across a broad range of HR accountabilities and functions
* Strong communication, coaching and business‑partnering capability
* Solid understanding of legislative compliance and industrial relations, ideally within a unionised environment
* Outstanding time‑management skills and ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced setting
* Demonstrated experience influencing others to drive meaningful change
* Passion for creating a workplace filled with amazing employee experiences
* High integrity and accountability, owning decisions and following through
