As a highly skilled Waterproofing Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise in waterproofing and building envelope systems for design and oversight of technical work.
* You will support litigation efforts through expert witness evidence and reporting.
* Critical evaluations of building envelope performance will be conducted by you.
* You will offer expert input on design and construction of building envelopes with an emphasis on waterproofing systems.
* Design assistance services related to waterproofing, including input on material selection and details, will be provided by you.
* Failing waterproofing and roofing systems will be investigated by you.
* You will review and contribute to the development of waterproofing details and specifications.
* Waterproofing project submittal and RFI documents will be reviewed by you.
* Inspection and supervision of inspection of work in progress related to waterproofing systems will be performed by you.
* Project meetings will be attended by you, including leading meetings or portions of meetings related to waterproofing.
* Repair and re-construction projects for residential, commercial, and government buildings will be managed by you.
Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years local postgraduate experience is required.
* A technical degree (Bachelor's or higher) in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a closely related field is necessary.
* Expertise in waterproofing and building envelope systems, with detailed knowledge of relevant Australian standards, is required.
* Experience in repair and re-construction, design, and project management of residential, commercial, and government buildings is essential.
* The ability to collaborate on multiple solutions and objectively summarize benefits and shortfalls is required.
* Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office suite software, is necessary.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
