Our Mandurah team is currently seeking Support Workers. As a Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them to lead fulfilling and independent lives.
Responsibilities
* Assist client with support in a wide range of goal requirements
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Provide medication administration and support with medical appointments
* Help clients with household tasks, meal preparation, and cleaning
* Plan and engage in activities to promote social interaction and physical well-being
* Assist clients in accessing community resources and services
* Provide emotional support and advocacy for clients as needed
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and support needs
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other care providers when required
* Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and protocols
Role Requirements
* Valid or willing to obtain NDIS Worker Screening
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with Comprehensive Insurance
* Certificate 3 or above in Individual Support
* Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate and patient demeanour
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
* We are open to working various shifts at either our participants' homes or our SDA home
