The Seniors Living Chaplain is a key member of the team providing holistic care and support to residents, family members and staff within a residential Aged Care facility. The role is responsible for the delivery of a number of key objectives which includes, but is not limited to:
* Facilitating a holistic pastoral care program;
* Nurturing a Jesus Centred spirituality that includes the provision of religious services and programs;
* Functioning as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team contributing pastoral and spiritual insights toward the overall care of a resident;
* In partnership with staff, developing a healthy community where residents feel a sense of welcome and home; and
* Working with volunteers to flourish further care within the service
Chaplains are members of the Mission Team of Churches of Christ in Queensland and support activities aligned with the strategic direction of, and consistent with, the mission and values of Churches of Christ in Queensland.
This position is 4 days a week and located in Stanthorpe.
