The Field Operations Supervisor role is a dynamic blend of autonomy and teamwork, collaborating directly with Camp & Village teams, and Senior Management Head Office teams. You will be responsible for the management and support of the Field staff, as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of TCLH managed sites across Western Australia and The Northern Territory, with sites varying in size from 15 personnel up to 150 personnel in capacity.
Ad-hoc travel will be required across all-managed sites throughout Australia.
This role will be FIFO ex DARWIN, NT.

DUTIES INVOLVED
* Managing, assisting and supporting the Camp Managers, Village Managers and Field Staff as and when required via phone support or emails when in field
* Conducting site visits, audits/checks when and as required by TCLH Senior Management or Leadership Team.
* Overseeing camp mobilisations, demobilisations, shutdowns and moves, including the management of and assisting staff where required.
* Managing and mentoring Camp Managers and Field Staff including performance management, and being able to take the lead in difficult circumstances while keeping positivity on the ground.
* Stepping in to work with the Chefs, Camp Managers or Camp Attendants when operationally required.
* Proactive contact with client representatives, partners and suppliers, building strong professional relationships and rapport
* Providing telephone support for troubleshooting issues at site
* Leading and attending management meetings with other staff, clients or stakeholders both in-person or via Teams Calls.
* Ensuring delivery to various contractual requirements and scopes across the fleet of managed sites.
* Consistently re-evaluate working practices in terms of efficiency and innovation and seek out and implement new practices
* Work with our catering manager and leadership team to help oversee all food and catering aspects including assisting with ordering for multiple sites and building and developing new menus when and as required.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (minimum) and Food Safety Supervisor Certification
* Demonstrated 3 years minimum experience in a Head Chef/ Executive Chef or similar position
* Experience in remote settings or FIFO roles. (highly advantageous)
* Proficient in HACCP and other relevant quality, safety, and compliance standards, including those specific to high-regulation sectors such as Defence, Construction, Mining and Oil & Gas
* Exceptional interpersonal; communication and strong people skills – the ability to positively and professionally communicate with staff is crucial
* Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol screening to allow for site visits
