This Level A academic role requires a teaching-focussed appointment with expertise in archaeology. Key responsibilities include developing curriculum, coordinating subjects, teaching, marking student work, and supporting students. Additionally, the academic will undertake scholarly work relevant to learning and teaching in their discipline or professional field.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Developing and implementing curriculum aligned with the program's goals and outcomes.
* Assisting in the coordination of subjects, ensuring effective delivery and student engagement.
* Teaching and marking student work, providing constructive feedback to enhance student learning.
* SUPPORTING STUDENTS THROUGHOUT THEIR LEARNING JOURNEY, PROVIDING GUIDANCE AND ADVICE AS NEEDED.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
* a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
* evidence of participation in higher-level study relevant to the discipline of archaeology.
* demonstrated ability to be effective in teaching and curriculum development.
* effective oral and written communication skills.
