Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Hospital are looking for a Registered Psychiatric Nurse -Division 1 to join our Acute Community Intervention Service Program at Wonthaggi Mental Health Service on a full time or part time ongoing basis.
The role is responsible for providing a high standard of clinical assessment, treatment and support to consumers who are experiencing significant mental health difficulties and their families to assist in the prevention of hospital admission.

We are looking for candidates who have:
9. Experienced clinical skills in comprehensive assessments
10. Understanding of Mental Health crisis work and the ability to work within an acute/crisis service
11. Experience in risk assessments and safety planning
12. Experience and knowledge in acute mental health intervention
13. Ability to identify and provide discharge management
14. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
