Base pay range
A$95,000.00/yr - A$135,000.00/yr
Join our client's Melbourne team as a Senior Design Technician and lead the delivery of temporary works solutions on major infrastructure and building projects. You'll mentor junior technicians, collaborate with engineers and stakeholders, and produce high-quality designs using Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM360/ACC.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and document temporary works designs ensuring compliance with Australian Standards
* Lead and support junior team members to develop their skills
* Manage project workloads and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative, safe solutions
Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 7 years' experience in temporary works drafting and design
* Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Common Data Environments (BIM360/ACC)
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, steel and concrete detailing
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
