What you will be doing and delivering
We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive experienced IPM Technician to join our team in Tatura. In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in protecting crop health by coordinating pest and disease scouting, implementing treatment programs, and supporting the introduction of beneficial insects.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Verifying pest and disease levels and scouting results
* Training new scouts and coordinating scouting priorities
* Recommending treatments and supporting spray operations
* Preparing crop reports and scouting maps
* Ensuring hygiene and quarantine protocols are followed
What you will bring to the role
* Have a relevant tertiary qualification (desirable)
* Hold a current driver's licence
* Can identify pests and diseases related to crops
* Have glasshouse experience or knowledge with beneficial insects in an IPM program
* Are organised, reliable, and safety-conscious
* Communicate clearly and work well both independently and in a team
