Operations & Hospital Management
Oversee day-to-day operations of the veterinary hospital Ensure smooth workflows across nursing, triage, and front‑of‑house teams Support scheduling, rostering, and resource allocation Guide and support nurses, receptionists, groomers, trainees, and volunteers Assist with onboarding, training, and daily team management Foster a positive, collaborative, and high‑performing team culture Process Improvement & Efficiency
Identify and implement improvements to workflows and procedures Help standardise processes to improve efficiency and consistency Support better service delivery and operational performance Compliance & Administration
Ensure adherence to WHS, infection control, and clinical protocols Manage stock, inventory, and ordering processes Maintain accurate documentation and operational standards Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with senior leaders on budgets, planning, and performance Support team communication through meetings and updates Act as a key escalation point for operational or people‑related matters Who We’re Looking For
Experience as a
Practice Manager
OR
5+ years as a Senior Veterinary Nurse Strong leadership and people management skills Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities Confident problem‑solver who thrives in a fast‑paced environment Experience with practice management systems and admin processes Passion for
animal welfare and delivering high‑quality care Ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader team What We Offer
