In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and compliance. You will work closely with the CFO and Executive team to ensure accurate and timely financial information, drive improvements and automate financial processes, and ensure the company's financial health.

Roles & Responsibilities
1. Acquisition Integration: Manage the finance integration of acquired companies, ensuring seamless financial consolidation aligned with company operations. Collaborate with the acquisitions team, solicitors, and other stakeholders to oversee and execute the financial aspects of acquisitions, ensuring smooth transitions, accurate consolidated financial reporting, driving cost-out programs, and adherence to contracts.
2. Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow planning, ensuring the company's liquidity needs are met. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring efficient cash management practices. Maintain a cash flow forecast, gather inputs from various stakeholders, and oversee adherence to debt covenants.
3. Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant standards. Experience with consolidated group reporting and scalable reporting systems. Coordinate the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
4. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, collaborating with departmental heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Track and monitor actual vs. budget performance on the cost side, providing variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions. Partner with senior team members to advise on plans and investments.
5. Internal Controls & Risk Management: Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. Conduct regular reviews of financial processes and systems, recommending improvements. Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Create and adjust policies for the group.
6. Payroll Management: Oversee payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing of salaries, bonuses, and benefits. Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and manage related queries. Build understanding of the SCHADs award and rules.
7. Taxation: Oversee the company's tax obligations, working with advisors to ensure compliance.

Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Experience in M&A, post-merger integration, process improvement, or building operational functions from scratch. ASX-listed company reporting experience preferred.
