About The Role
We are looking for a naturally agile and experienced Warehouse Manager to take the reins of our busy, yet dynamic operations. This is a hands-on role that offers a great balance of both physical warehouse work and essential office duties. You will be empowered to lead our existing tight-knit team, streamline the day-to-day functions and ultimately deliver exceptional customer service.
Your week will incorporate the following responsibilites:
Warehouse: management of daily warehouse functions and tasks including distribution of workload, pick/packing, inventory control/stock ordering, shipping/receiving processes, general logistics and warehouse coordination, maintaining safety standards
Administration: overseeing customer support, including handling of queries, reporting, resource planning of staff including leave management and rostering
Leadership: promoting and driving our core values, developing ongoing relationships with key stakeholders, contributing to strategic discussions and growth projects, training, developing and managing the team
Business Performance: practical execution of operational and business objectives, streamlining of workflows, capturing standard operating procedures and implementing process to ensure efficiencies
Branding: positively representing our brand, supporting and building our community of design-loving customers, delivery of products that are high quality with a sense of personal touch
You are:
Comfortable with evolving responsibilities and can wear multiple professional hats
Self-driven, autonomous and physically capable of manual labour
Computer savvy with technical/administrative skills to easily navigate systems/data
A strong and natural communicator with the ability to engage and motivate others
Appreciative of good design, quality product and branding
Organised, detail oriented and can effectively manage time (yourself and others)
Excited by a dynamic, non-corporate work environment that values creativity
Confident making informed decisions and have a 'solutions mindset'
Bonus skillset/experience - E-commerce, Shopify, Slack, Warehousing background
