Your role at St John of God Social Outreach
We are seeking to hire a Manager to lead our Medicare Mental Health Centre on a permanent full-time basis, at Midland WA .
As Manager, you will provide operational leadership of the Head to Health adult mental health centres and satellite sites under the clinical services plan and model of care ensuring service that reflects the Vision, Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care
Our team provides a safe and welcoming spaces for locals to walk in and access free mental health support and services - no referral, Medicare card or appointment needed. Staffed by qualified mental health professionals and people with lived experience, the centres provide immediate support to adults in distress, including their families, friends and carers. We can also connect people with other support services, such as employment assistance, to support them in the future.
The Position

* Ensures that programs are developed, delivered and evaluated to best meet the needs of the community within the service regions.
* In collaboration with the WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA), Director of Community Mental Health Services, local providers and agencies, works to respond to changing mental health needs in the community.
* Develops and maintains strong partnerships that support and meet the needs of the local community and ensure no wrong door, timely access to services and provision of warm handover and collaboration with other agencies.
* Actively develop and promote workforce plans and strategies that enhance the attraction and retention of appropriately qualified caregivers.
* Lead departments and teams in the successful achievement of accreditation to QIP standards.
* Ensure effective clinical governance systems and processes are in place, which improve the quality of consumer experience and promote clinical excellence.

You will possess a tertiary qualification in mental health or a related profession and be registered with the relevant professional body. In addition, you will demonstrate experience in senior leadership in the design and development of clinical and psychosocial programs, as well as the ability to develop and achieve both strategic and operational objectives.
Successful applicants must have a valid driver's licence, Working with Children's Check and National Police Clearance.

We can offer you

* Salary: $154,196 to $171,339 per annum, plus 12% Superannuation
* Permanent full-time, working 38 hours per week
* Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:
