**About the role...**
We have a vacancy for an Accounts Payable Officer in a permanent full-time capacity located at our head office in Torquay. The primary focus of the role is to process and pay creditor invoices for multiple Rip Curl entities using our ERP software. Partnering with our International suppliers and internal product, buying and purchasing teams to ensure strong supplier relationships are upheld. Responsibilities include;
- Process a large volume of supplier invoices and credits and match invoices against Purchase Orders as goods are received in the warehouse.
- Receive and process freight and duty invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
- Make weekly and monthly payment runs to suppliers through our ERP software and banking platforms.
- Routine reconciliation of supplier statements and follow up on any issues as appropriate.
- Ensure delegation of authority & company approval policies are followed and unauthorised invoices are forwarded to the responsible team member for payment approval.
- Build robust relationships with key stakeholders across the business including the wider finance, product, buying and purchasing teams.
- Address and respond to employee/creditor enquiries in a timely manner and follow up any outstanding items with responsible personnel.
- Identify areas for improvement within the current processes and raise suggestions with the Finance Manager
**About you...**
Demonstrated Payable experience with ERP Systems and Microsoft Suite will ensure you can hit the ground running. You will have a high attention to detail, take pride in being accurate your work. You will be highly organised in your approach to your work and be proactive in your approach. The role requires you to problem-solve and think analytically about your work you will be able to demonstrate this from examples in your current role. You will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a team focused positive attitude.
