About Commercial Analysis
We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is based in our Newcastle office.
Accountable for oversight of revenue streams, with a strong focus on developing and coordinating annual revenue budgets and ongoing monthly revenue forecasting. The role supports forward-looking revenue planning through analysis of sales volumes, pricing assumptions, shipment timing, and market conditions, providing insight to senior management and the Board to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and monitor performance against those budgets and forecasts
* Assist with completion of sales forecasts based on market trends, customer demand, production capacity.
* Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment between sales targets operational capabilities.
* Prepare regular reports highlighting key metrics trends for management review.
Fundamental Requirements
1. Prolific experience commercial analysis preferably within coal industry related sectors; can leverage financial modeling skills budgeting too.
2.
