Platinum Consultants is hiring a Junior Admin Assistant!
Platinum Consultants Australia (PCA) was founded in Perth 15 years ago by an IT manager who streamlined his business so well he did himself out of a job. Since then, PCA has grown into the premier consultancy for implementing Simpro — Australia's leading job management software for quoting, invoicing, scheduling, and running trade businesses. While focusing on Simpro, PCA is heavily involved with all types of automation and software which makes the client's business run smoothly.
This role will suit you if you like finishing what you start. Once something lands on your desk, you see it through and don't need anyone chasing you up. You're organised, you pay attention to the small details, and you can switch between tasks without losing track.
You've spent time in or around trade businesses, so you understand the natural workflows of the clients that Platinum deals with, and their individual issues and pain points.
You're also comfortable with tech. Updating a website, posting to socials, cleaning up a database, or mapping out a process feels natural. You pick up new tools quickly and enjoy working things out on your own.
Your role will include:
Handling office communications
— answering calls, replying to emails, and following up on client enquiries.
Managing admin tasks
— booking sessions, invoicing, chasing unpaid invoices, and keeping customer records accurate. Anything which ensures all the consultants are busy and customers booked in and questions answered.
Supporting the director
— running calendars, organising travel and events, and taking on personal admin tasks
Social media and website updates
— posting, editing, and maintaining content.
Document and process support
— updating policies, creating flowcharts, preparing quotes and proposals, and chasing missing information.
Assisting with promotions
— preparing signage, banners, EDMs, and other workshop or event materials.
You're a great fit if you're naturally organised, confident in communication, tech-savvy, and used to the rhythm of trade businesses.
It is essential that you like learning, as there is a lot to learn. Training will be provided but you must have the above attributes to succeed in this role. Part of your job is to make more time for the director!
Schedule:
Full time, Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm or 9am–5pm.
Remuneration:
The starting salary is $50K–$60K + Super, depending on experience. There is room to move up in salary as you become fully proficient in the role.
This role has genuine scope to grow. Over time you may take on HR, projects, and even management responsibilities. If you're ambitious, there's potential to run team meetings, manage projects, and expand your contribution to the business.
If this sounds like you, apply now!
