About the Role...
The Cleaner role ensures the presentation of Taronga Zoo grounds and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Accountabilities...
Perform all cleaning duties in and around zoo grounds Maintain the presentation of Taronga Zoo's public areas, internal administrative buildings and car park to the highest possible standards.
Comply with Taronga's Customer Service Charter and suggest initiatives for further improvement to ensure industry leading standards are maintained.
Communicate Taronga's education and conservation messages both internally and externally, ensuring all communications align with Taronga's values to inspire change in accordance with Taronga's vision and strategic pillars.
Work effectively as a member of a high performing team, to assist Taronga in its achievement of strategic outcomes.
Comply with and suggest sustainability practices in the workplace to help achieve Taronga's sustainability targets and reduce environmental impact.
Comply with and report any Work, Health and Safety incidents in line with Taronga's Work, Health and Safety Charter.
About You...
We are looking for candidates that have: 12months + Cleaning experince Obtain and maintain a current paid NSW Working with Children Check at own expense.
A Pre employment medical assessment (including a Musculoskeletal and fitness assessment and Occupational noise audiometric assessment) - Taronga will pay for this if you progress through the recruitment process Pre employment Hepatitis A and B, required before starting in the role, at own expense.
