About the Role
The Support Worker role involves delivering personalized support to participants with their daily activities. This includes companionship, transport, shopping, meal preparation, domestic assistance, and medication management.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personalized support to participants to assist with activities of daily living
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of care for participants
Requirements
* Certificate III in Mental Health, Disability, Aged Care or Home and Community Care is desirable but not essential
* A current valid Driver's License and a registered, insured vehicle are required
* A Police Records Check and Working with Children Check must be completed
* Manual handling training is desirable; however, training will be provided if needed
* A Right to work in Australia is required
* Availability and willingness to use a personal smartphone are expected
* An NDIS Workers Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate are also necessary
