Functional Oracle Consultant - 6-month Contract
We are partnering with a well-known business in Australia that’s undergoing a major enterprise transformation.
They’re looking for a Functional Oracle Consultant with strong experience across HCM to help optimise, enhance, and support the platform across key business functions.
The Opportunity:
This role sits within a high-performing internal Oracle team and will work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders. You'll help deliver ongoing enhancements to their Oracle Fusion HCM platform and provide hands-on functional expertise across modules like Core HR, Absence, Talent, and Payroll.
The business has a long-term Oracle roadmap in place, with plenty of upcoming projects and room for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Configure and support Oracle Fusion HCM modules including Core HR, Absence, Payroll, Talent, and Compensation
2. Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications
3. Lead or contribute to end-to-end implementations and enhancements
4. Support testing cycles (SIT/UAT), training, change management, and go-live
5. Work collaboratively with both business users and technical teams
6. Stay updated with Oracle releases and assess their impact on the business
What You’ll Need:
* Proven experience as a Functional Oracle Consultant, ideally within Fusion HCM
* Strong understanding of HCM processes and system configuration
* Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or large enterprise environments (preferred)
* Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
