Job Opportunity
The role of the Care Team Leader is to oversee a team of Community Care staff who provide direct care to our clients. This is a permanent full-time position working Monday – Friday, located in the South East Sydney Home Care Team.
About the Job
The successful candidate will ensure that staff have a good understanding of individual client needs and preferences and can provide services tailored to the needs of individual clients. They will work in partnership and consultation with other managers as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, support, and mentor the team.
* Manage the recruitment of new Care Workers.
* Educate, develop, and resource staff.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A Certificate IV in Aged Care (desired), or HR or similar degree.
* A minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience.
* Knowledge of the Home Care Packages Program, CHSP services, Aged Care Quality Standards, and Commonwealth Home Support Programme.
* Performance coaching experience and management of a team in a multi-site environment.
* A current driver's licence and safe driving record.
* Strong organisational, administrative, and computer skills.
* Empathy and patience.
