MKP Group is a national Finance, Insurance, and Advisory firm. Currently experiencing strong growth and continued demand in its Asset Finance offering, we are looking for a graduate to assist the sales team in Sydney. With on the job training by mentors and senior brokers, as well as technical course completion, the graduate development program will provide you with a pathway to become an Asset Finance Broker.
Your responsibilities:-
* Primarily involved in origination and execution of asset finance transactions across SME, mid-market, and corporate clients.
* Work on transactions for clients across the engineering & construction, energy, transport, manufacturing and mining industries.
* Support key national vendor programs through client / account creation in Salesforce CRM System
* Gain experience in asset finance transactions and quoting function.
* Assist sales teams with deal flow by developing a full understanding of lenders credit appetite & discuss client debt exposure strategies with finance teams – training provided.
* Understand government legislation impacting lending, including Anti Money Laundering (AML) / Counter Terrorism Legislation, Know Your Client requirements to assisting lenders compliance requirements.
* Be involved in Stakeholder engagement (via telephone initially) including lenders, clients, accountants, suppliers, insurers, introducer.
* Competencies gained via the following development courses:-
* Certificate IV in Financial Services FNS 41815: Specialising in Commercial & Asset Finance
* Introduction to Financial Accounting
* Australian Privacy Act
* Ethics,
* AML and
* MS Office - Excel to supercharge your finance career
About you:-
* Great attention to detail, accuracy and professionalism
* Highly motivated looking for a challenging and rewarding position
* Customer service or sales experience advantageous as you will be dealing with clients regularly either via phone or face to face
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Degree in Business, Finance, Commerce or Economics is preferred
* A thirst for learning, with an interest in further studies and advancement
* Well organised and can handle working under pressure
* You may have played in teams sports and held leadership positions at school or university.
* You are keen to be trained and mentored through a structured graduate training course.
The position is available for an immediate start. Working hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is available with WFH and office base once fully trained.
