Our International Tax & Transaction Services team are seeking a Consultant who is passionate about International Tax to support our clients advising on tax matters ranging from investments, acquisitions, disposals, business transformations, business restructures, planning for new international projects and internal and external financing.
As part of our ITTS team you would have the opportunity to work across a range of clients, from large multinational companies across a broad range of industries to small start-ups. Working closely with our broader international and corporate tax specialists across the EY network in Australia and overseas, you would be part of an integrated team striving to help our clients thrive in a global environment. Core duties include the following but are not limited to:
- Gathering, synthesising, and analysing information pertaining to international tax engagements
- Assist in managing multiple projects, preparing working papers and drafting international tax agreements under the guidance of senior staff
**What we're looking for**
Here's our 'wish list' but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes. We're interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go.
- 1 year + experience in tax consulting (within a top tier accounting firm, corporate, business consulting or legal environment)
- Undergraduate qualifications in Business, Finance, Law or Accounting
- Excellent interpersonal skills and time management capabilities
- Ability to work effectively either as an individual or member of a team and relate effectively with staff on all levels
- Strong commercial acumen
- Proactive and able to identify and resolve problems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
**Ideally, you'll also have**
- Exposure to a range of international tax issues
**What we can offer you**
- The minimum salary for this role is AUD$77,700 inclusive of superannuation and dependent on skills and experience._
