Job Role
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with participants, addressing their immediate needs and concerns.
* Foster a supportive environment that encourages participant autonomy, engagement, and personal growth.
* Organize and lead daily programs and activities, catering to diverse interests and needs.
* Provide expert guidance and support to help participants navigate their circumstances and develop effective strategies for success.
* Collaborate with participants to set and achieve their recovery goals, promoting empowerment and self-determination.
* Facilitate access to additional resources and services as required, ensuring seamless support throughout the participant's journey.
Key Requirements
* A relevant Certificate or Diploma in Community Services, Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD), Mental Health, or a related field, supported by equivalent on-the-job training and experience.
* Proven experience in a similar role or sector, demonstrating a strong understanding of participant needs and support strategies.
* A current First Aid Certificate and valid Driver's Licence, reflecting a commitment to safety and mobility.
* A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), ensuring a secure and trusted environment for all participants.
