We're seeking a highly organised and collaborative Project Manager to join our Technology Portfolio Delivery Services team on a 12-month fixed‐term contract. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to apply your existing technical skills and knowledge of the insurance domain to play a key part in delivering Adica's business and technology projects.
Potential projects include:
* Onboarding new insurance products/new partners
* Building new business capabilities through adoption of advanced features from existing SaaS applications (eg, omnichannel customer engagement)
* Financial and Insurance regulatory compliance projects
What You'll Be Responsible For
* Developing, facilitating, and presenting project business cases and project delivery plans.
* Coordinating internal/external resources and managing project assignments.
* Monitoring project budgets, expenditure, and recommending corrective actions when required.
* Managing project schedules, reporting progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
* Overseeing project documentation, quality standards, and client relationships.
* Leading risk management activities, including the design of risk mitigation planning.
* Conducting project stage gate reviews and periodic status reporting.
* Overseeing implementation and change activities in collaboration with our Change team.
* Continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes and delivery.
What You'll Bring
* 5+ years in the Financial Services Industry, with general insurance product knowledge highly regarded.
* An understanding or familiarity with insurance regulations, compliance standards, and legal requirements within the insurance industry (e.g. APRA or ASIC Prudential standards).
* Experience in managing, implementing, and enhancing projects with a strong focus on the customer and customer experience, claims processing and adjudication, and customer & policy administration systems.
* Proficiency in using project management tools (MS Project, JIRA).
* Experience with actuarial, pricing, and underwriting processes and projects aimed at improving underwriting efficiency and accuracy.
* Experience in the delivery of successful technology transformation and data migration projects.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a pro‐active approach to problem‐solving and attention to detail.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with managers and employees to implement organisational improvements.
* Excellent communication skills (particularly written) including the ability to prepare high quality written reports, policies, action plans, correspondence and documentation as required.
