Head of Organisational Development and EDI

At Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, we are looking for an experienced and visionary leader to join us as Head of Organisational Development and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (OD & EDI) on an interim basis for 12 months.This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact. You will be the Trust's advocate and expert on equality, diversity, and inclusion--shaping strategies that drive cultural transformation and ensure our workforce reflects the communities we serve. Working closely with senior leaders and system partners, you'll lead initiatives that embed inclusive leadership behaviours, champion anti-racism, and foster psychological safety across the organisation.
Main duties of the job
In this pivotal role, you'll influence policy at the highest level, oversee statutory reporting requirements such as WRES, WDES, and EDS2, and translate complex data into actionable insights that deliver meaningful change. You'll also build capability across all leadership tiers, ensuring EDI principles are at the heart of everything we do.We're looking for someone with proven experience in organisational development and EDI within a complex setting--ideally the NHS--combined with exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. Person Specification
- Masters level qualification in related subject or equivalent relevant experience
- Chartered member of CIPD (MCIPD)
- Coach/mentoring experience
- Strong understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion agenda
- Experience of working with strategic policy in the NHS or a large complex organisation
- Experience of designing, developing, implementing and evaluating OD/EDI interventions
- Ability to present complex and sensitive information to large and influential groups
- Ability to analyse complex facts and situations and develop a range of options
