About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker Welder to join our team on a new project in the Gascoyne region. This is an exciting opportunity to support our mobile equipment fleet through safe, efficient fabrication, structural repairs and maintenance as the project develops from the ground up.
This position is day shift only, with the option of either a 2:1 or 8:6 roster.
About You
* Minimum 2+ years' experience as a Boilermaker or Welder, ideally in mining or civil environments
* Australian recognised Boilermaker / Fabrication Trade Certificate
* Additional High Risk Work Licences (highly regarded)
* Strong fabrication, welding and structural repair capability
* Experience working on heavy mobile equipment (buckets, trays, chassis, structural components)
* Commitment to safety, teamwork and high quality workmanship
* Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities
* Effective communication skills and a proactive approach
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence
* Ability to pass a Pre Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
Responsibilities
* Perform welding, fabrication and structural repairs on mobile mining equipment
* Carry out bucket, tray, chassis and structural component repairs
* Conduct inspections and identify defects requiring attention
* Support daily maintenance requirements and equipment readiness
* Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
* Work collaboratively with mechanical and service teams to prioritise tasks
* Always uphold a strong safety-first mindset
