About the role
We are seeking a Clinic Nurse to join our team at Skin C Clinic' in Ipswich, Queensland. This is a casual job opportunity to provide high-quality nursing care and support to our patients. As a Clinic Nurse, you will be an integral part of our dedicated healthcare team, playing a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
What you'll be doing
* Performing a range of nursing and duties, including patient assessments, administering (oral and parenteral) medications, and providing peri-operative care. For ENs competent and completed a medication administration course which includes intradermal, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.
* Assisting doctors with examinations, procedures, and treatment plans
* Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with relevant medical and legal requirements
* Coordinating the flow of patient appointments and managing the clinic's daily operations. Managing reception duties in a timely and professional manner including minimizing waiting times, answering telephones within an appropriate time and redirecting calls and messages.
* Providing education and support to patients, promoting their overall health and wellbeing
* Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of seamless, patient-centred care
* Maintaining a fast-paced, clean, safe, and well-stocked clinical environment
What we're looking for
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess, plan, and implement nursing care tailored to individual patient needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach
* Proficient in maintaining accurate medical records and patient documentation
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for delivering high-quality nursing care
