Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the mechanical and electrical systems onboard vessels, pontoon, vehicles, tenders, and systems are properly maintained.
* Diagnostics and Repair: Diagnose system problems and perform repairs to ensure optimal performance and safety.
* Log Management: Maintain accurate logs and complete work orders in a timely manner.
* Compliance and Safety: Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Marine Memos, and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
* Scheduled Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and safety systems to prevent downtime and ensure vessel operability.
* Trade Qualification: Possess a trade qualification with diesel mechanic experience preferred.
* Driver's License: Hold an Open Manual Driver's License.
* CPR Certification: Be certified in HLTAID011 Provide First Aid & CPR.
* Desirable Skills: Working at heights, confined spaces, and forklift license are desirable but not essential.
A strong marine diesel engine background and problem-solving skills are highly valued in this role. You should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing circumstances, and demonstrate initiative in maintaining and improving systems and processes.
