Job description:
The Finance Manager is a key member of the Budget Management and Partnerships Team supporting the Group Finance Manager to provide expert financial management advice to support senior managers and stakeholders on all aspects relating to the Group. The Finance Manager is the primary relationship holder with divisional executives and will build an intimate understanding of their allocated division's financial position and resourcing requirements.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
* Financial analysis experience in the public or private sector to provide expert advice to the senior leadership team in achieving deliverables.
* Deep understanding of and practical experience in applying the Financial Management Act 1994 and the Resource Management Framework to best bring practice in decision making.
* A professional accounting qualification (CPA or CA) will be regarded
* Tertiary qualification: Completion of an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline is mandatory.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
