About the Role
The Trade Assistant is a key role within our Defence Maintenance Contract team, supporting maintenance activities and working on a vast range of exciting Defence vehicles and assets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist trades personnel with all types of work in the workshop.
* Help with maintenance and storeroom tasks.
* Maintain the work area in a neat and orderly manner.
* Operate plant and equipment where qualified and licensed to do so.
Requirements:
* A current Driver's License (C class, manual, open).
* A great attitude, a good work ethic, and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
* Additional experience would also be highly desirable.
* Tyre fitting experience.
* A High Risk Work license with competencies in Forklift.
* Computer literacy using Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
* Able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
