Job Title: Groups Reservations Agent
We are seeking an experienced reservation professional to handle all aspects of group reservations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Critical Responsibilities:
* Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations in a timely and efficient manner.
* Determine the most suitable room type and rate for each group based on their specific needs and requirements.
* Verify availability of rooms and rates to ensure accurate information is provided to guests.
* Communicate clearly and concisely with guests regarding guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies.
* Accommodate and document special requests, such as room preferences or amenities.
* Provide detailed information about property facilities and services to guests.
* Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue and meet or exceed sales targets.
* Input and access data in the reservation system accurately and efficiently.
* Identify and resolve guest concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
* Answer telephones using proper etiquette and communication skills.
Requirements:
* Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
* Experience working in a high-volume call center environment.
* Familiarity with Opera system or similar reservation software.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
