About This Role
We are seeking an Electromechanical Technician to join our team in preparing the launch pad's electrical, mechanical, and fluid systems for launch operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working on mechanical and low-voltage control systems, as well as knowledge of hydraulic/cryogenic systems and operations.
Responsibilities:
* Fabricate and install fluid system components from schematics or engineering drawings, including ball valves, check valves, pressure regulators, and pressure gauges.
* Troubleshoot operational issues found during the activation of controls, fluids, and mechanical systems.
* Work with a team of technicians and engineers to ensure every system operates with the highest level of quality to support successful launch.
* Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and aerial platforms.
* Perform hands-on operations with large and small fragile assemblies.
* Maintain and troubleshoot complex controls, fluids, and mechanical systems.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
* 2+ years of experience performing maintenance or installation work on mechanical and low-voltage control systems.
Preferred Skills:
* NCCER Instrumentation certification.
* Experience working on rocket launch pads and directly supporting launch operations.
* Experience in military aviation as a propulsion or airframe technician.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will be able to pass Air Force background checks and obtain respirator certification. Must be available for shift rotations, overtime, and weekends as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs.
