Quality and Risk Manager (Maternity Leave)

About the role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Quality and Risk Manager will have a key leadership role in the coordination, implementation and monitoring of Eva Tilley’s Quality and Risk Management Systems to ensure excellence in care and services are delivered by all staff consistently across the organisation.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside our dedicated clinical and operational leadership teams to ensure conformance with the new Aged Care Act and regulatory model, whilst delivering meaningful outcomes for our residents, families and staff alike.
What you will need to succeed in the role
* Contemporary knowledge of the legislative framework that underpins the residential aged care sector, specifically the Aged Care Act 2024 and the Strengthened Standards Quality Standards
* Demonstrated understanding of quality management issues, including systems and processes for achieving continuous quality improvement.
* Oversee the formulation of responses and reports to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and other relevant regulatory bodies.
* Demonstrated ability to manage a range of complex tasks within and across several areas at the same time and to different timeframes.
* Excellent writing skills including a demonstrated ability to prepare reports using clear, concise language, organise information into a logical sequence and include content appropriate for the purpose and audience.
* Experience and expertise in the development and implementation of quality systems preferably within the health/aged care/community services sectors.
* Competence in data collection, recording, analysis, and presentation.
You will bring to the role
* Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
* Demonstrated understanding of corporate and clinical governance principles and application of risk management concepts within aged care settings.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Competence in data collection, recording, analysis, and presentation.
* A relevant tertiary qualification (post‑graduate qualifications in risk management, organisational or project planning and/or health field will be highly regarded).
* 3 – 5 years’ experience in a senior management / coordination role.
