Technical Support Specialist Role

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, you will be responsible for delivering technical support and training to our customers.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful implementation of our C4 product suite. You will work closely with our project manager to provide expert advice and guidance to our clients.

The position is full-time, based in Canberra, and requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Your Key Responsibilities

* Install, configure, and support SitaWare in customer C4I environments for testing, training, exercise, and actual operations.
* Set up and test integrations between SitaWare and coalition systems, sensors, effectors, and communication systems.
* Deliver technical training to administrators and end-users in classroom and workshop settings.
* Gather customer feedback and contribute to internal learning loops and product roadmaps.
* Stay up-to-date with Systematic products to ensure alignment of customer expectations and product development.
* Participate in beta release testing and C4I software improvement activities.
* Ensure projects are delivered within scope and on time.


Required Skills and Qualifications

* Certifications or training in IT, Electrical Engineering, or similar fields.
* Experience in delivering presentations, training, and technical support.
* Familiarity with IT infrastructure and platforms (Windows, Linux, Android-based operating systems, Active Directory, database management systems, XMPP chat).
* Knowledge of Australian Defence terminology, use cases, practices, and procedures.
* Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Basic scripting skills (e.g., JavaScript, JSON, XML) and hardware infrastructure experience.
