Our client is currently on the lookout for an experienced Data Scientist to deliver end-to-end advanced analytics and AI solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem. You will be responsible for apply rigorous data science methods, contributing to the internal knowledge base, uplifting AI capability, and helping stakeholders realise value from predictive modelling, machine learning, and modern data platforms.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Lead the design, development, validation, and operationalisation of machine learning models, covering supervised, unsupervised, forecasting, natural language processing, and advanced analytics use cases.
* Build and maintain high?quality model pipelines, including data preparation, feature engineering, experimentation, evaluation, and continuous optimisation for performance and cost.
* Leverage Microsoft?aligned tooling for end?to?end ML workflows, including platforms such as Microsoft Fabric ML, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, MLflow, and modern registry and deployment mechanisms.
* Integrate LLM, GenAI, and agent?based capabilities using Microsoft?aligned frameworks (e.g., Foundry SDKs, orchestration frameworks, embedding pipelines) where appropriate.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
* Strong experience across the AI/ML lifecycle: data exploration, algorithm selection, modelling, evaluation, optimisation, deployment, and monitoring
* Proficiency with Python, PySpark, SQL, and modern open?source ML libraries.
* Hands?on experience with Microsoft Fabric ML, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, MLflow, Delta Lake, and enterprise-grade model registry patterns.
* Experience building repeatable ML pipelines with CI/CD, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, and IaC with Bicep.
