The Role
We are looking for a qualified health care professional with:
* Current registration as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* At least one full year of Nursing experience.
The Enrolled Nurse (EN) contributes to planning, implementing and assisting in the evaluation of health issues and in the provision of nursing care for patients.
Our Location, Team, and Service
Located on the banks of the Macquarie River in the Central Tablelands of NSW, Bathurst is rich with history and gold rush heritage. It’s also the home of Australian motor racing at Mount Panorama.
Bathurst Correctional Centre is a mixed-security facility for male offenders, serving as a reception prison for western NSW, located centrally in Bathurst, about 1 hour from Orange and the Blue Mountains, and 210 km west of Sydney.
You’ll join a close-knit clinical team led by a passionate Nurse Unit Manager that encourages staff development. Working within the Primary Care team, you’ll enjoy excellent training & education opportunities alongside Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol, Population Health, and Aboriginal Chronic Care teams.
