Glenview Community Services is seeking a motivated and reliable Maintenance Officer – Grounds and Gardens to join our Asset Services team. This is a varied and rewarding role supporting our Residential Aged Care facilities. About the Role

The Maintenance Officer – Grounds and Gardens contributes to the overall presentation, safety and functionality of Glenview properties by delivering high-quality gardening, grounds and general maintenance services.

Working under the direction of the Assets Manager, you will operate across multiple sites with a proactive, service-focused approach, ensuring our environments remain safe, compliant and welcoming for residents, clients, visitors and staff.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain all Glenview grounds to a clean, safe and well-presented standard
* Perform routine gardening and grounds maintenance across all sites
* Undertake minor repairs to grounds infrastructure and equipment
* Carry out light construction duties within skill level
* Safely handle and store chemicals in accordance with MSDS and procedures
* Monitor contractors to ensure works meet required standards
* Support site teams with furniture and equipment movement as required
* Perform minor building repairs and preventative maintenance
* Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
* Assist with plant, vehicle and equipment upkeep
* Maintain accurate records using the asset management system
* Liaise with contractors and service providers
* Complete administrative tasks required for effective maintenance operations

About You

You are reliable, practical and take pride in your work. You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, and you are comfortable working across multiple sites.

Ideally, you will have:

* Experience in groundskeeping, gardening and/or general maintenance
* Demonstrated ability to perform minor repairs and light construction
* Sound knowledge of safe chemical handling and WHS practices
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset

Essential:

* A current driver's licence (manual)
* Working with Vulnerable people check (NDIS endorsed) or willingness to obtain
* Current National Police check (Which has been done in the last 12 months)

Benefits:

Salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum

Additional Meal & Entertainment salary packaging up to $2,649 per annum
