A challenging role has arisen for an Enterprise Integration Tester to join a dynamic multi-disciplinary team within a large-scale federal government transformation program.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute comprehensive integration test plans for complex multi-system environments, including APIs, data pipelines, and cloud services.
* Implement automated deployment processes for integration solutions, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and traceability across CI/CD pipelines.
* Maintain and configure development, testing, and production environments to replicate real-world conditions for accurate testing.
* Apply advanced scripting and automation skills using tools such as PowerShell, ARM templates, Bicep, and YAML to streamline deployments and test environments.
* Design monitoring solutions to track performance, availability, and security of integration solutions, including proactive alerting mechanisms.
* Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enhance software quality, including security testing (SAST and DAST).
* Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, testers, and stakeholders to align practices with program goals and timelines.
* Ensure integration testing adheres to Australian Government security and privacy standards.
Highly Desirable Criteria:
* Proven experience in integration testing across cloud-based and hybrid environments.
* In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, and API Management.
* Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins, with hands-on experience in pipeline configuration and test automation.
* Advanced scripting and automation skills, particularly with PowerShell, ARM, Bicep, and YAML.
* Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience with data validation and reconciliation across integrated systems.
* Knowledge of performance and API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
* Familiarity with Micro Focus Fortify, SailPoint, ServiceNow, and AWS.
* Understanding of compliance and security requirements in government or regulated environments.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
