Description
Key Responsibilities
* Apply documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
* Disassemble, inspect, clean and reassemble engines and/or engine components.
* Perform preventative maintenance based on assessment of engines.
* Assist more experienced technicians with diagnostics and development of repair plans for engines in the workshop.
* Complete required documentation, such as work completed documents, time sheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
* Complete training in line with skill and business requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area and tools.
Requirements
* Australian recognised Trade certificate (heavy or light vehicle)
* Apprentice trained engine technician (preferred)
* Locally valid driving permit
* This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
* Significant field service work experience
* Expert level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
