We're looking for a Senior Manager to join our Business Lending Risk team and help shape the future of credit policy at Westpac.You'll lead complex policy initiatives, contribute to strategic projects, and ensure our credit policies are clear, compliant, and aligned with our business goals.
You'll also play a key role in mentoring others, managing workflows, and supporting senior leaders with insights and reporting.This is a hands-on role where you'll simplify policies, support regulatory compliance, and help drive change across the business.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:Experience working in credit risk or financial services, with a strong understanding of credit origination and evaluationConfidence reviewing credit policies and frameworks, ideally with knowledge of APRA's prudential standardsClear communication skills - you can explain technical ideas to non-technical peopleA knack for solving problems and spotting opportunities to improve processesComfortable working in project environments, especially Agile or hybrid setupsFamiliarity with data tools like Power BI or Tableau, and an interest in using data to drive decisionsWhy join us?
