Overview
Wesco Anixter is seeking a customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our Balcatta security branch team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional service and is eager to learn all aspects of electronic security technologies and solutions.
Responsibilities
* Serving customers at the Trade Counter and via phone/email
* Responding to product, pricing, order, and account enquiries
* Preparing accurate quotes based on customer needs
* Processing sales orders (via emailed purchase orders, counter and phone)
* Coordinating with operations, purchasing, and accounts teams
* Managing returns, backorders, and stock requests
About You
We value positivity, a willingness to learn, and a customer-first mindset. While experience in a similiar industry is beneficial, it is not essential. The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in internal sales or customer service
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
* Strong communication and phone skills
* Interest in security tech like access control and CCTV
* Detail-oriented with strong time management
* Fast learner with a tech-savvy mindset
