About the Role
As a Processing Attendant, you will be an integral part of our production team, assisting with the processing and production of our delicious fresh and smoked salmon. Working on a dynamic production line, you’ll operate machinery to slice, cut, weigh, and package a range of high-quality products.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and passionate team. While previous experience in a processing environment is preferred, it's not essential—we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. If you have a great attitude and are ready for a new challenge, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the processing and production of fresh and smoked salmon on a fast-paced production line.
* Operate machinery to accurately slice, cut, weigh, and package a variety of products.
* Maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and food safety.
* Rigorously follow all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe and compliant workplace for yourself and your team.
Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for the waitlist, you must possess the following:
* Full availability to work shifts Monday to Friday each week, including early morning starts (4am or 5am).
* Ability to work comfortably in a cold food-processing environment.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Reliable transport and a valid driver's licence are essential.
* A current Forklift ticket is highly desirable.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and drug and alcohol test.
* Full-time working rights in Australia.
