Join HammondCare as a Business Support Officer (Care Navigation). HammondCare is a not-for-profit, Christian organisation providing aged care, home care, dementia care and palliative care. We are mission-led and aim to support older people through life’s difficult circumstances.
Role and responsibilities
The Business Support Officer (BSO) Care Navigation works within the Mission and Mission in Action to ensure home care services are tailored, personal and delivered to high standards. The BSO delivers a broad range of administrative activities for teams, potential clients, clients, representatives, and contractors across HammondCare at Home (HCAH), locally and centrally. The BSO supports one or more areas across HammondCare at Home and interacts with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide reliable administrative support for colleagues, potential clients, clients, their representatives and contractors across Care Navigation Service, Partner Services and Areas/Regions
- Work with colleagues to ensure best practice and regulatory, service and care requirements are met
- Support communication, collaboration and engagement across the team and stakeholders
- Support stream activity and assist in other streams as needed for seamless administration
What you need to apply
- Commitment to HammondCare’s Christian Mission and Mission in Action
- Previous administrative experience
- Proficiency in managing inquiries via inbound and outbound calls
- Knowledge of compliance requirements in the Aged Care sector
- Commitment to customer service excellence
- Willingness to complete MACLearning requirements in the MACLearning portal (Care Navigation Service only)
Desirable
- Certificate III in Administration, Aged Care, Project Management, Diploma in Aged Care or similar
- Knowledge of Home Care Package Operations Manual
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
- Familiarity with HammondCare Aged Care Enterprise Agreement 2023
