We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic National Events Manager to lead and support our events operations at a national level. Reporting to the General Manager – Events, this is a key leadership role, responsible for the end-to-end management of our events business unit. You will lead teams, manage operations and build strong client relationships to ensure the successful delivery of safe, compliant and high-quality traffic management services.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture
* Lead and develop operational and field teams to meet safety and performance targets
* Drive compliance with Life Saving Rules and company policies
* Set and monitor KPIs, addressing performance gaps
* Promote collaboration across operations, safety and commercial teams
Event Operations & Project Management
* Deliver traffic management for major events from planning to execution
* Coordinate schedules, staffing and resource allocation
* Manage budgets, forecasting and cost control
Field Operations & Compliance
* Ensure adequate resourcing of labour, fleet, equipment and traffic plans
* Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments
* Ensure compliance with permits, approvals and regulations
Health, Safety & Risk Management
* Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company procedures
* Manage incidents, investigations and corrective actions
* Conduct drug and alcohol testing as required
* Identify hazards and implement risk controls
* Enforce safety controls in live traffic environments
Client & Stakeholder Management
* Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
* Act as key contact for event delivery and issue resolution
* Support business development and growth opportunities
About You
* Proven experience in operations, events or traffic management (5+ years)
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence teams
* Experience managing projects, budgets and client relationships
* Sound understanding of safety and compliance requirements
* Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant systems
* Experience in traffic control, civil, infrastructure or major events is highly regarded
* Relevant qualifications in business or traffic management is highly regarded
